Wisefilm Aluminum Film with Desiccant Function integrates a polymer drying film with desiccant functionality to create a desiccant moisture absorbing film laminate. The outer layer is made of a high barrier polymer plastic aluminum film and the inner layer contains drying and moisture absorption functionality. These are laminated by advanced composite technology to create a desiccant moisture absorbing film. This is a great way to create moisture-free medical blister packs, gel packs, and other methodologies in the medical and pharmaceutical industries that require individual packing.

1. What is aluminum desiccant film?
Aluminum desiccant film is a type of functional composite aluminum film newly developed by Wisesorbent. It has high strength, high barrier and high corrosion resistant performance, as well as desiccative function to better protect your product.
2. How does aluminum desiccant film realize desiccative function?
WiseSorbent® utilize special technology to combine molecular sieve desiccant with plastic to make desiccant film. And upgrade the lamination structure of traditional composite aluminum film from PET-aluminum-PE to PET-aluminum-desiccant layer-PE. Thus, aluminum desiccant film has desiccative function in addition to the advantages of traditional aluminum film.
3. Why use aluminum desiccant film?
Due to package volume limitation in pharmaceutical packaging for powder pack, desiccants are not able to fit in. Thus, shelf life of the products is affected by humidity rate. Aluminum desiccant film has desiccant function as well as advantages of traditional aluminum film, which can better protect medicines that are sensitive to humidity and extend product shelf life.
Moreover, replacing traditional desiccant product with aluminum desiccant film and avoid the hidden risks of deficiencies such as desiccant package breakage. And save the labor and equipment costs for desiccant dispensing.

6.What are the precautions when using aluminum desiccant film?

Aluminum desiccant film should be stored in dry, cool environment with good ventilation, and avoid storing with volatile products.
Aluminum desiccant film should not be exposed to open environment for over 2 hours after package opening, and should be used up as soon as possible.
