Wisemini Strip Desiccant (Continuous Silica Gel Strip Desiccant) is based on our Wisemini Sachet and allows customers to deliver our desiccants into their packaging through automated means. It works seamlessly with the automatic cutting and dispensing machine thus greatly improving safety and efficiency. Wisemini Strip Desiccant conforms to US FDA Standards as well. It can be safely used in the medical and healthcare products industry as well as other industries that require small packaging to be moisture-free.
1. Why use Ultrasonic sealing?
Ultrasonic sealing is an environmentally friendly process not using any sort of adhesive/glue to
close each desiccant. It is an overall stronger seal as well.
2. What type of ink do you use?
Our Wisemini Strip Desiccants all utilize FDA water-based ink and are non-toxic.
Additionally, no ink is printed on the desiccant bag edges leading to higher strength edges.
3. Why use white silica gel?
White Silica Gel when compared to other types of silica gel (such as orange or color changing)
has the highest overall adsorption rate.
4. How many sizes do you have in total?
There are 5 different standardized sizes of Wisemini Strip Desiccant: 0.25g, 0.5g, 1g, 2g, and 3g.
5. How do I automatically dispense Wisemini Strip Desiccants?
You can utilize any of Wisesorbent’s Cutting and Dispensing Machines along with any other
standard Cutting and Dispensing Machine for Desiccant Strips.
6. Why use Uncoated Tyvek?
Uncoated Tyvek is used as our packaging material due to it being breathable but at the same
time having a high strength. This combination allows for our sachets to have a high adsorption
rate while also being very safe.
7. What type of products should use Wisemini Strip Desiccant?
Wisemini Desiccant strips are great for small style packaging for pharmaceuticals, food,
nutraceuticals and small electronic devices. Anything that needs to be protected and be safe for
human consumption/contact is benefited by Wisemini and its moisture adsorption properties.

In this chart, we can easily see that the giving condition under the room temperature and humidity rate is higher than 37%: white silica gel (A Type Silica Gel) absorbing ability is higher than the molecular sieve, Montmorillonite and Indicating Silica Gel.
