Reuse of packaging materials
Original Intention
During the production process of desiccants, it is difficult to avoid the generation of various waste materials.
In large-scale production, these waste materials can accumulate over time. On one hand, it requires effort and
resources to handle the waste, and on the other hand, it leads to resource wastage.
The raw materials of desiccants can be relatively easily reused. However, waste materials such as packaging
materials and various types of film are difficult to be reintroduced into the production process.
New Approach to Pallets
- Pallets optimize and improve efficiency in various logistics processes such as loading, unloading, handling, and storage. Pallet demand has always been high.
- Plastic pallets, a common material for pallets, have the advantages of being lightweight and easy to use due to their anti-slip properties.
- Most waste materials from desiccant packaging and film are made of polymer plastics, which meet the requirements for making plastic pallet fillers.
Industrial Process and Finished Product
In situations where there is a high demand for pallets and the waste material can be used as filler for plastic pallets, WiseSorbent has successfully implemented verification and adjustments to transform the waste plastic and film materials generated during the production of desiccants into robust and durable recycled plastic pallets.
